Ambassador Schmid said he came to Serbia with great enthusiasm to work on strengthening comprehensive cooperation, especially in the field of economy, and confirmed that the Swiss Parliament had extended the programme of cooperation with our country.

President Vučić thanked for the help that Switzerland, as a country with one of the best educational systems, provides to Serbia in establishing dual education. In that regard, he expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with Ursula Renold from the Swiss Economic Institute. He also emphasised the importance of Swiss assistance in establishing science and technology parks in Belgrade, Niš and Čačak.

President Vučić thanked Switzerland for its support for Serbia's European path, which Ambassador Schmid expressed on this occasion as well.

The two interlocutors also discussed the situation in the region, as well as the global challenges imposed by the coronavirus pandemic, especially for the economy. President Vučić thanked for the help that Switzerland sent to our country as support in the fight against COVID-19.
