Serbia declared a state of emergency on May 15 after the worst rainfall since records began to be kept 127 years ago triggered floods leaving 27 dead, 17 in neighboring Bosnia and two in Croatia. In Serbia alone, more than 30,000 people have been evacuated. The government declared a three-day mourning through May 23 for the flood victims.

In these days we are asking for help from foreign countries, governments, corporations and individuals. We need medicine, food, especially baby food and construction materials.

The impact of the flooding caused extreme damages to people homes, bridges, railroads, infrastructure and fields. 2,260 structures remain flooded while 1,763 are endangered. In order to provide help for the flood-stricken population and to alleviate the consequences of flooding, a humanitarian bank account hes been activated.

We expresses a big gratitude to all those who made a donation or offered help and assistance.
